Sunday's Tips
Sundays tips from Towcester including a strong 4 point bet in the six-bend open race at 4.44.

Sunday's Tips
**** 4.44 Towcester – Bank Of Granda (4pts at evens)
** 5.21 Towcester – Tax Evader (2pt at 6/4)
* 3.29 Towcester – Essjay Paul (1pt at 6s)
Bank Of Granda rates as the nap of the day when the May 2022 daughter of Droopys Sydney lines up from T6 in the Towcester Stayers open race at 4.44 over the six-bend 712-metre trip. Last week, Bank Of Granda finished a close second behind Doohoma Princess (T5) and caught my eye in defeat. This afternoon, although drawn a little wider than normal out in T6, that could work in her favour, with a smart exit she's more than capable of making all and taking this race.
Tax Evader was sent off at 4/7 over course and distance last week but got it all wrong at the boxes when he stumbled and turned half a dozen lengths behind the leaders. Tax Evader ran well to get within two lengths and hinted that this course and distance will suit. Today, it's all on the break, trap well, and he will prove hard to beat. Bowmers Wildcat (T5) ran in the JR Racing Juvenile Classic final last week finishing fifth. On paper this appears to be a slight drop in class, and he would be a huge runner with a level break.
A little earlier on, one that should go well at a price is Essjay Paul who lines up from T5 in the Towcester Maiden at 3.29. The Frank Gray-trained September 2023 son of Bull Run Bolt has won in A5 and A4 grade in recent weeks, showing nice pace. Today, he steps into maiden open company, but with a smart exit he could turn with the pace and then it's race on. Vermithor looks the danger from T2. He was sent off at 4/7 last week and finished third behind impressive winner Makeit Blondie.
