Sunday's Tips - 18 May 2025
Towcester is the centre of attention for the third day running where our greyhound racing tips can be found.

Sunday Tips - 18 May 2025
*** 3.49 Towcester - T3 Crafty Prospero 11/10
** 4.26 Towcester - T1 Doohoma Princess 4/1
* 2.52 Towcester - T1 Toomuchchat 11/4
Crafty Prospero has not helped himself with slow starts over 500m here but he has still managed to win two of his four runs, including a maiden contest last Sunday. It is no surprise to see Michelle Brown step him up to six bends, wasting very little time in giving him a stiffer test of stamina. Visually, he looks to be crying out for a longer trip with his dam Crafty Kokoro winning the Corn Cuchulainn back in 2022, although she was also quick enough to make an Irish Derby final.
Things didn't fall right for Doohoma Princess last week but the return to six bends as the sole railer can see her back to her best. She should make the opening turn level at worst, drive the bend and emerge into the home straight for the first time with a couple of lengths on the field. Savana Regimental was far from disgraced in the semis of the Premier Greyhound Racing Golden Jacket at Monmore. He lacks a look around but was only a length off making a Cat One final for new connections and is clearly a talent to respect.
The third selection on the day is a young pup for Kevin Boon who should appreciate the return to the red jacket. He is still very green but he chased home Indian Bonnie on his race debut, beaten a length and three-quarters. That winner followed up with a third in the opening round of the Derby, beaten a length and a half by Romeo Empire and a short head by Ballymac Lucia and qualified for the third round last night. For Toomuchchat to run Indian Bonnie that close suggests that he is well above average and he should be too good for this maiden field.
