The inaugural Aero Greyhounds Charity Golf Day proved a big success last Friday.
Sponsored by PCS Legal, the event took place on 1st August at the Shropshire Golf Club in Telford and was staged in aid of Home Run Hounds, with the aim is to raise as much money as possible for the charity.
The day raised £3,000 for Home Run Hounds, who offer a full greyhound homing service for seasoned and new greyhound owners.
There were prizes for first, second and third place in the Stableford team competition, as well blind putt, nearest the pin and longest drive. There was also a post-golf raffle and a silent auction to increase fundraising.
The event was a big hit and hopefully it will return for a second year in 2026.
