Joe's Friday Tips

***9.28 Romford - Bacon Roll (4pts) 7/4
**8.54 Romford - Isthatmyfella (3pts) 5/2
*8.36 Romford - Gothic Kitty (3pts) (10/3)

More open race action this evening taking place at Romford and Sunderland.

The nap of the night runs in the Kat Bridgen Farewell Stakes over 400m at 9.28pm. Trap six Bacon Roll ran extremely well last week to get as close as she did in third when finding trouble at the bend. However, this evening she has got five railers inside her so a level break from the outside should be enough for her to gain a clear passage where if doing so she should go onto win. Trap five Tomahawk and trap four Grove Patrick will both be moving in on the run to the bend so as long as Bacon Roll keeps herself to herself she should win.

The next best is trap two Isthatmyfella in the PGR On Greyhounds.Attheraces.com Standard at 8.54pm. He has been running well in defeat behind Dreaming Faith over the 225m the last three Fridays and now steps up to a more suitable trip. He clocked 24.29 in a trial and if trapping, he should clear Drumdoit Matt on his inside. If he can turn in a pitch with Teaboy Brownie on the outside he should be able to outstay that rival and go onto win.

The third bet of the evening is trap five Gothic Kitty in the Future Of Racing : PGR TV Marathon over 750m at 8.36pm. Although she finds herself in with Ballymac Taylor this evening, Gothic Kitty won a moderate race over C&D seven days ago but clocked a fast enough time to warrant getting competitive this evening with Ballymac Taylor not at the top of her game at present. Bright Jewel was nearly four lengths behind Gothic Kitty over 575m back in April and did not get to her by the pick up so I am hoping Michelle Brown’s bitch can cut loose early and hold on.

At Sunderland, the Bresbet Gymcrack winner Elusivenomore goes in a Arc Puppy Trophy Trial Stakes at 7.41pm where he can get the better of Sunnyside Jayden and Santas Amigo from an inside draw.
