On Friday, International Greyhound Sales will be at Monmore for their next sales. Monmore tends to be a good sale with plenty of smart types sent over with the 480m there a good test of speed. 

The catalogue is out now with 50 lots set to go under the hammer at the Wolverhampton venue.

A couple of the most interesting lots are below:

Tis Tough

Unraced September 2023 dog pup by Ballymac Bolger out of Ladyswell a strong running A1 winner over four bends and open class winner over six.  Closely related to many high class types including Zascandil the sensational UK staying star who so memorably landed the Coral Regency at Hove back in 2020.  Tis Tough looks all set for an open class career here in the UK with just two trials currently on his card with a brilliant 2928 around Kilkenny followed up with an even more impressive 2893 around Shelbourne with both trials resulting in 14 length successes and the most interesting thing to note about this youngster is that he has been noted doing all of his best work very late in the day with local clock watchers at Shelbourne reporting a finishing kick of distinction for a pup of this age and inexperience.  One that many will have in their notebooks as a potential staying star of the future and sure to attract some lively bidding come sales day.

Crossfield Roger

August 2023 son of Droopys Sydney out of Crossfield Linda a 2816 open class winner on the track around Shelbourne Park and a full sister to the superstar UK sprinting sensation Crossfield Dusty.  Roger recorded 2870 around Cork in the first official trial on his card and bettered that on Friday evening with a super 2853 around the same venue.  This very much marks him out as a high class open racing prospect.
