Joe's Wednesday Tips

***9.23 Yarmouth - Druids All go (3pts) 6/5
**8.19 Romford - Imonlytwilight (2pts) 5/2
*7.44 Romford - Crossfield Amy (2pts) 5/2

Three graded selections this evening across Yarmouth and Romford.

The nap runs in the final race at Yarmouth an A1 at 9.23pm. Trap two Druids All Go was only a head away from making the third round of the Greyhound Derby last week when Barntick Bear nabbed him on the line and he drops back into A1 company and not the strongest A1 of the night, so takes all the beating. He should clear Leeview Glory on his inside and although Cassandras Girl is in fine form, Druids All Go should be able to show his class this evening and return to winning ways.

The next best is trap four Imonlytwilight in the S2 at Romford at 8.19pm. She is a frustrating bitch to follow but the race could suit this evening with Ballyloo Charlie and Kates Dream able to stop Tesseract and Swift Indigo getting loose. She traps well but lacks a yard of pace so if things get messy up front she can be there to take advantage and pick up the pieces late on.

The third bet is trap two Crossfield Amy in the A3 at Romford at 7.44pm. A July 2023 puppy having her first UK start, Crossfield Amy comes here with a solid sprint run at Tralee beaten five lengths by Sogna Ancora who is unbeaten including an impressive display at Shelbourne Park last week beating the likes of Stonepark Browne, Epic Ace and Road Exile. That line of form behind Sogna Ancora looks strong in the context of this race and if she improves on the trial times she is posting she could make this grade look silly so I am willing to take a chance on her on UK debut.
