Brian Thompson's railer has been handed a real opportunity here with a downgrade into an A2 contest. The kennel could do with a change of luck with both Common Canter and Vixons Filofax taken out of the Derby this morning due to lameness. 

This evening's runner has contested a trio of A2 races so far in his career, winning all of them. It's a long way back through his form to December 2023 and the last time that he raced at a level this low. A winner in an A1 on March 22, he has gone off favourite in three of his last four top grade contests and is liable to be sent off as the market leader once more.
