Gone To The Dogs- Live! returns at Newcastle on Thursday before a broadcast at Hove on Saturday 2nd August.

Gone To The Dogs- Live! back with Newcastle show before Hove next week
Gone To The Dogs- Live! returns at Newcastle on Thursday with a card featuring the finals of the Time Greyhound Nutrition Northern Flat and Arc Angel of The North.
The programme will start at 7pm and include nine races live from the Byker venue.
And the news from Greyhound Racing UK is that Hove’s gala card on Saturday, August 2 which sees a major Category One double-header with the finals of the Premier Greyhound Racing Regency and Coral Sussex Cup will be the next broadcast from the GTTD team.
A spokesperson for Greyhound Racing UK said: “It’s a busy but exciting ten days or so for greyhound fans - and it’s great to confirm that the Gone To The Dogs - Live! team will be on their travels for the first time since the Derby broadcasts from Towcester.
“They’re in the north east on Thursday - a real hotbed of greyhound racing - and then heading south for another big-race double header.
“These major meetings at Newcastle and Hove are exactly why Gone To The Dogs - Live! was set up as the broadcasting arm of Greyhound Racing UK and we hope to announce further coverage of top-class greyhound racing to follow.
“However, none of this would be possible without us establishing partnerships with a number of major stakeholders which gives us the opportunity to showcase greyhound racing - and the great people and stories within the industry - in the best possible way.
“We are always looking at ways of enhancing the sport’s appeal and will be developing ideas on the Gone To The Dogs channel on YouTube, as well as supporting Barking Mad Betting, the Gone To The Dogs podcasts and Greyhound Homing UK which is, of course, massively important to us.
“The greyhounds themselves are the stars and telling the stories of their careers and their progress once their racing days are over is key to what we at Greyhound Racing UK are trying to do - Dani Jackson and Leonna Mayor have just filmed a great piece at Rose Draper’s kennels in Yorkshire where the ex-racers very much take centre-stage!
“Telling these stories goes hand in hand with the coverage of top-class racing on Gone To The Dogs - Live! We particularly cherish the engagement of owners and trainers - and sponsors - within these programmes, all of which play major roles in the future success of this great sport.”
