Towcester's trial session on Tuesday saw Derby night hopefuls in action
There were some interesting greyhounds in trial action at Towcester on Tuesday with Derby Final night in mind.

Towcester's Tuesday Trials
There were some very interesting dogs having a trial at Towcester yesterday with the feature of them Mongys Wild. The Time TV Trophy winner produced a flying 29.12 trial over 500m ahead of a tilt at the Fox Sports Surfacing Dorando Marathon which is the final race on the night of the Star Sports/TRC English Greyhound Derby.
He is yet to taste defeat at Towcester, with only one Monmore defeat when behind Deadly Disco on his card. 12/13 overall since joining the kennel of Mark Wallis, he is going to be a very short price to close out the card on Saturday, June 14.
Maxine Locke trialled a pair of her Category One winning bitches in Droopys Eunice and Yahoo Maizy. The Allied Site Services Bitches Trophy starts this weekend and the pair would both be strong contenders on the form that they have shown at Towcester in the past. Eunice was third in the final of the bet365 Empress Stakes last September while Maizy won the bet365 English Puppy Oaks in December.
The quickest sectional from the 500m triallists came from the unraced Vermithor. The December 23 son of Burgess Bucks and Limini has an 18.73 trial at Shelbourne as his only official mark on his Irish card from back in April. He has joined Wallis and with those early gears, he looks like being another very smart type for the MWD Partnership.
