All eyes on the Cowick Road venue, Nottingham, on Monday, August 18, with the Arena Racing Company Puppy Classic heats taking centre stage with the Category One final taking place a week later on Monday, August 25, with £12,500 up for grabs.

Let’s delve into the stats for the East Midlands venue.

If you’re looking for stats, then Greyhound Stats UK is the go-to website for all Greyhound Racing Statistics. The website offers an insight into stats like average winning time in each grade, which trap wins the most races and winning times over all distances run at the track.

Nottingham, for example, over the four-bend 500-metre trip shows T2 is the most common winner with 18.9% of races, closely followed by T1 with 18.3% of wins.

According to the Greyhoundstats.co.uk website, T6 is the least prolific winning trap with just 14.9% of races won from the striped jacket of the standard 500m distance.

The two-bend 305-metre trip has T5 out in front with 20.4% of wins with traps 2 and 3 in joint second on 19.6%.

Let’s take a look at the fastest winners of 2025 for the most commonly used distances at Nottingham Greyhound Stadium.

The 305m sprint trip has the Patrick Janssens-trained flying machine Romeo Steel out in front with a 17.32 run recorded on Monday, March 17. Romeo Alliance who lines up from T4 in the ARC Puppy Classic semi-final on Monday, August 18 is third on the list. Can the Patrick Janssens-trained son of Romeo Magico dip below 29.16 this coming Monday?
