Joe Conneely's ante-post thoughts on the Derby supporting comps

Joe's supporting competition predictions 

Alongside the quarter-finals of the Star Sports & TRC Greyhound Derby we have two other competitions getting underway at the track on Saturday evening.

First up is the Greyhoundtrader.com stakes where Hard Done Boy from trap three can take heat one at 6.01pm. Heat two at 6.17pm can be a Hove domination with trap four Rapido Ali beating Gary The Arb and Uncle Freddie. Trap
two Zenith Quincy can land the spoils in heat three at 6.35pm with my ante post selection Flashing Fender leading and making all from trap five in heat four at 6.51pm.

The pricedup.Bet Derby plate also gets underway Saturday evening with four heats. Trap one Hopes Ompaloompa can get the better of Salacres Senan in heat one at 7.10pm. Heat two at 7.28pm is a cracker with top of the market Lennies Desire taking on Romeo Tomcat and Table Toppers where I am with Romeo Tomcat to dominate early. Trap one Val Tashadelek is expected to lead and make all in heat three at 7.46pm and my ante post selection Scooby The Boss can return to winning ways from trap one in heat four at 8.06pm.
