Lets look ahead to an excellent nights racing as we go through the action race by race.

All prices from track sponsors Coral

6.08pm – Coral Finals Night 500 Standard

Can King Memphis return to form and land the Coral Finals Night 500 Standard Final for trainer Liz McNair?

Coral go 8/11 about the December 2021 son of Droopys Sydney and that could tempt a few in.

Fantasy Alex 6, King Memphis 8/11, Zenith Eze 5, Salacres Slick 14, Moving Force 3

6.26pm – Coral Finals Night 500 Puppies

All eyes on Droopys String in the Coral Finals Night 500 Puppies open race at 6.26.

The Carl Gardiner-trained railer clocked 29.46 over course and distance on July 27 in a solo trial, a repeat of that would make him hard to beat. Droopys String 2/7, Navy Bullet 20, Bombshell Bullet 4, Jacktavern Mojo 6

6.42pm – Coral 500 Standard Trophy Final

This is a wide-open event with plenty in with chances. Recent Coral Coronation Cup finalist Teddie could tempt a few in at 6s with track sponsors Coral. Hopes Kitty 3, Kelvins Hat 7/2, Teddie 6, Ballydarley Jack 14, Ower Cracker 8, So Cool 9/4

6.59pm - Premier Greyhound Racing Regency Consolation

The PGR Regency Consolation will see Breton Molly start as the short priced favourite but on paper this looks highly competitive with plenty in with chances. Ivy Hill Cherry bolted up in the first-round of the PGR Regency clocking 41.53, if she brings her trapping boots tomorrow evening that 4s on offer with Coral will look solid value.

Ivy Hill Cherry 4, Swift Jarvis 7/2, Breton Molly 4/5, Rules For Some 12, Minstrels Six 16, Lilys Bullet 8

7.16pm – Coral Sussex Sprint Trophy Final

£3000 is up for grabs as the sprinters take centre stage over the two-bend 285 metre trip at the Nevill Road stadium Hove. Coral have the Richard Rees-trained railer Shadow Storm as the favourite at 2s with recent Kent Silver Salver finalist Ballinakill Liam in next at 11/4.

Queen Sinead 4, Shadow Storm 2, Yahoo Megan 10, Roanna Mamba 11/2, King Presley 4, Ballinakill Liam 11/4

7.33pm – Coral Finals Night Marathon

The Marathon over the eight-bend 955 metre trip. Salacres Belleze is a worthy favourite and will take all the beating. Eternal Spirit is an interesting runner from T1. The Seamus Cahill-trained railer is very lightly race since moving over from Galway and could surprise at a price.

Eternal Spirit 4, Ower Smasher 5/2, Salacres Belleza 4/6, Antons Maggie 16, She Loves You 16

7.49pm – Coral Sussex Cup Final

Proper Heiress is a warm order here with the sponsors going 1/2 about the Mark Wallis-trained superstar. Slick Sentinel in next in at 7.2. The Category One final will see the winner take home £10,000, this race is all about the break, can Proper Heiress pop out and make all?

Ower Mystery 50, Proper Heiress 1/2, Queen Shakira 8, Chelms Bear 8, Quill Quids 50, Slick Sentinel 7/2

8.07pm – Droopys Clue Happy Retirement At Stud Trophy

Recent Coral Coronation Cup winner Fabulous Sonique will start as the short priced favourite in the Droopys Clue retirement race at 8.07 over the four-bend 500 metre trip. Granted a level break and clear run the Mark Wallis-trained railer will prove hard to beat.

Fabulous Sonique 1/2, Chelms Chloe 10, Clairkeith Liana 10, Gucci Detail 10, Easy Tizzy 8, Ballmac Kinga 9/2

8.24pm – Premier Greyhound Racing Regency Final

All eyes on the superstar that is Mongys Wild in the Premier Greyhound Racing Regency Final at 8.24. Romeo Empire looks well-drawn to lead round with Garfiney Blaze unfortunately now out the race then its about where Mongys Wild turns, if he’s within striking distance its race on.

Romeo Empire 5, Mongys Wild 1/3, Art Riddler 12, Droopys Invent 40, Bombay Nutty 8

8.41pm – Churchfield Syd Happy Retirement At Stud Stakes

Wide-open as the betting suggests. Raebella Bullet is returning from season and her recent 29.57 course and distance trial caught the eye, if she takes another step forward and more importantly leads round she could be the one to take this.

Raebella Bullet 3, Kilara Moosh 7/2, Head For Home 3, Bossy Bullet 9, Peregrine Messi 5, Clona Bingo 3

8.59pm – Coral Finals Night 500 Standard

On paper this looks a match between Gary The Arb in T2 and Missile One from T4, if either lead round they will prove hard to beat. No Betting Fellin was a Star Sports / TRC English Derby semi-finalist, if he were to trap he could make them all go.

No Better Feelin 6, Gary The Arb 11/8, Burrows Charm 7, Missile One 6/4, Flashing Fender 8

9.16pm – Coral Finals Night 500 Maidens

The excellent Coral Finals Night card finishes with a highly competitive Maiden over the 500 metre trip. The Belinda Green-trained Pawsome Bullet is the 11/4 favourite with the sponsors following a recent 29.63 trial over course and distance, although beaten in A1 grade on Hove debut the August 2023 son of Ballymac Cashout lost nowing in defeat and looks a nice type.

Harlequin Gambit 10/3, Pawsome Bullet 11/4, Cartoonist 4, Boom Boom Bullet 8, Glenrock King 3, Burrows Magic 5

Speaking to George Smith from Coral he had this to say about the Category One finals: “Mark Wallis’s Proper Heiress and Mongys Wild both look good things to get the job done in Saturdays Sussex Cup and Regency finals, both popular in the betting pre event, plenty have also got stuck into the short price double for the finals, currently at 1/2 and 1/3 it would be nice to get one of them beat for the book but is hard to look past them.

“Slick Sentinel looks the biggest danger to Heiress in the Sussex Cup and should have a clear run to the bend with slow starters in his inside while in the Regency there are good draws for a few with Bombay Nutty being the only middle runner who could be helped by some traffic with Droopys Invent coming across. Overall, some exciting finals and the rest of the card is filled with plenty of talent.’’
